Elle serait capable de rivaliser avec l\u2019intelligence humaine, voire m\u00eame serait consciente. DeepMind, soci\u00e9t\u00e9 s\u0153ur de Google, vient de publier un article sur Gato, une nouvelle IA g\u00e9n\u00e9raliste qui pourrait \u00eatre le pr\u00e9curseur de l\u2019IA forte.&nbsp;<strong>La majorit\u00e9 des IA actuelles sont sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es dans une t\u00e2che, entra\u00een\u00e9es avec des r\u00e9seaux neuronaux dans un but sp\u00e9cifique comme celui de cr\u00e9er des deepfakes ou de jouer aux \u00e9checs. Avec Gato, DeepMind prend l\u2019approche inverse et a cr\u00e9\u00e9 une seule IA capable d\u2019effectuer de nombreuses t\u00e2ches tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rentes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selon les auteurs, \u00ab le m\u00eame r\u00e9seau avec les m\u00eames poids est capable de jouer \u00e0 la console Atari, identifier le contenu des images, discuter, empiler des blocs avec un vrai bras robotique et bien plus \u00bb. L\u2019IA utilise le contexte pour d\u00e9cider sous quelle forme donner ses r\u00e9ponses.&nbsp;<strong>Au total, elle est capable d\u2019effectuer 604 t\u00e2ches avec un seul et m\u00eame mod\u00e8le, un v\u00e9ritable exploit.<\/strong>&nbsp;DeepMind a utilis\u00e9 un r\u00e9seau neuronal de type transformeur, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement utilis\u00e9 dans le traitement des langues. Gato a \u00e9t\u00e9 entra\u00een\u00e9 sur un grand nombre de bases de donn\u00e9es, contenant des images, du texte, ainsi que l\u2019exp\u00e9rience d\u2019agents dans le monde r\u00e9el ou dans des environnements simul\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Le probl\u00e8me est que l\u2019IA\u202fne parvient pas \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser ces t\u00e2ches correctement tout le temps. Par exemple, les r\u00e9ponses lors d\u2019une discussion peuvent \u00eatre incorrectes. Gato a notamment indiqu\u00e9 que Marseille \u00e9tait la capitale de la France\u2026 DeepMind indique que, pour les trois quarts des t\u00e2ches (450 sur 604), l\u2019IA aurait de meilleures performances qu\u2019un expert la moiti\u00e9 du temps.
